While this song sounds awesome within itself, I expected the introduction to it to be just as awesome. Unfortunately, I felt like the introduction dance was a bit...off. Maybe it's me being too critical but the dance comes off very stiff in the beginning up to the point where Changmin and Yunho go to punch each others fists until the 'Catch Me' Part begins and the awesome Arabic like beat comes into play. The dance at that point seems a little funny but with the sound of the song and the lonesome 'Catch Me..' phrase, it fits perfectly. It's also one of the main reasons why I love this song. If that same hard beat came more often in the song, I would love it even more.
The dance from that point on is really interesting. I love the idea of the arm bands connecting the arms as though it's one moving being. At 1:25 they also do a trade off move when the focus in the dance goes from Yunho to Changmin and it really hooked meas if the dance was leading me from role to role, guiding my focus from point to point. The chorus with their voices sounds amazing and though the choreography here doesn't require a lot of movement, you know it has to be hard for them to lean like that! It's really a unique choreograph that needs strength and man power!
Their solo shots are oh so perfect as well. I mean, who couldn't love those faces? The fashion parts seems a little plain but that totally works for the mojo of this MV. The simple color scheme of the outfits with flashy accessories is befitting to the TVXQ pair. The simplicity of the outfits isn't the only simple thing I see a lot of people talking about with this MV, the set has also gained a lot of attention. Though, TVXQ doesn't really need much of a big set to capture their fans hearts. Personally, their power vocals are enough to capture mine. That being said, I enjoy the look of the various sets even if I feel that the boys dancing on water has been done too many times in the kpop industry already. The effects are nice as well, especially the end where the pair disappear together in one puff.
This song and video has to be one of my favorites released by TVXQ. If you're not familiar with them, you should definitely check them out!
